Having difficulty finding a literary community in Phoenix?

Writing without Workshops is a donation-only writing group for all adult writers. We don’t charge for events, and the “monthly fee” is on a donation basis. You are a full member whether you choose to donate or not. But if it the group is useful and valuable, please consider pitching in.

Whether you’ve been writing for years or you’re new to the craft, you will enjoy the company of our intelligent, passionate group members. We discuss novels, short stories, memoir, creative nonfiction, journalism, drama, screenplays–whatever.

Every month, we’ll host a variety of events to encourage and support a diverse group. We’ll focus on activities to keep writers writing, to explore with form, to learn from each other, and to socialize.
